In late 2016, and later in 2021 for a rebid, and now in 2024, Interface worked with one of its key clients to have them modify their standard service offering to meet a large Army customer’s needs. This requirement was similar but not totally in line with the Company’s standard B to B services. Our client realized with Interface input that this modification to its standard services offering was necessary to meet this government customer’s needs. The resulting contract, and its renewal after 5 years later led to over to over $5M in new government business.
This client has now offered this ‘hybrid’ service to several large commercial corporate customers resulting in new B to B contracts with private sector customers – all because of this new service which originated with the request from a US Army customer.

One of our oldest clients, the company began in 1840, and Interface has been representing them since the 1990’s. This client continues to have major success in the federal government market. Their well-known commercial brands fit right in with the federal government COTS – Commercial Off The Shelf initiatives. Interface established contract programs via the brick and mortar stores worldwide. We utilized our long-term relationship with our client to recommend consideration of allowing members of the AbilityOne program to manufacture some proprietary high impact brand products. This initiative will create employment opportunities for people who are blind or have significant disabilities while strengthening our client’s social responsibility profile and growing the bottom line.
As the federal government contract programs evolve so does our client’s participation in these programs providing superior products to federal customers around the globe.
